TVN and TVN24 journalists awarded during the 7th edition of the Sensitive Festival

TVN and TVN24 journalists were awarded on Friday in Gdynia during the 7th edition of the Sensitive Festival. They won all the awards in the Film Reportage category. The special award “Sensitive Person” was given to TVN24 journalist Ewa Ewart.

The 7th edition of the Sensitive Festival took place on April 18-19 in Gdynia. “It is a festival of film, radio and press reportage and documentaries, as well as photo reportage on topics that are particularly sensitive to human affairs. The Sensitive Festival was created to find and distinguish particularly attentive reporters. To show their work and its effects. To connect sensitive people, responsible media, education, art and communities in helping wisely,” the organizers write about the event.

This year's edition was held under the slogan “Intergenerational communication for the future”.

During the Festival, awards were presented in several categories. All awards in the Film Reportage category were won by TVN and TVN24 journalists. First place for reportage “I worked in hell and was one of the devils” won by “Uwagi!” TVN journalists Tomasz Patora and Joanna Pęcherska.

Awarded during the Sensitive Festival TVN24

The second place ex aequo was taken by “Superwizjer” journalists: Wojciech Szumowski and Rut Kurkiewicz for their reportage “We were prisoners of the Polish state” and Marcin Wójcik and Bartosz Józefiak for the material “Polish trap. The mystery of the death of a journalist from Guatemala“. Third place went to Marcin Jakóbczyk from “Uwaga!” TVN for the reportage “People we pass“.

The special award “Sensitive Person” was given to TVN24 journalist Ewa Ewart.
