The social network Twitter was down for about an hour. According to downdetector.com, problems have been reported with accessing the app and website. Some users have also complained about login difficulties.
“Something went wrong, but don’t worry, it’s not your fault. Let’s try again” or “The website does not work” – such messages appeared when you tried to refresh the website of the website. Shortly before 3 p.m. the failure was removed.
According to reports from users of downdetector.com, users’ problems with accessing the website appeared just after 2 p.m. The website recorded over 50,000 reports at its peak. Downdetector compiles status reports from multiple sources – including bugs reported by users on its platform.
It is not known what caused the failure. Twitter did not immediately respond to a request for comment, the Reuters Agency reported.
Twitter crash and software bug
The previous Twitter crash happened in February. The company then announced that it had fixed a software bug that was disrupting the portal’s operation. The earlier failure caused problems in using the website by thousands of users, also in Poland.
