– We have initially determined that the 44-year-old driving a DAF truck with a semi-trailer was driving from the direction of Śrem much too fast. Only at the last moment did he notice two vehicles standing on the road due to alternating traffic. The 44-year-old wanted to avoid a collision with these vehicles, so he drove into the opposite lane. But there he collided with a properly moving truck driven by a 62-year-old – the deputy inspector told tvn24.pl. Ewa Kasińska, spokeswoman for the Śrem police.

Provincial road No. 434 is completely blocked in both directions. Officers direct drivers to detours. Difficulties may last until 6 p.m.
