The Ukrainian private company Nova Pochta announced that employees who were sorting parcels with humanitarian aid and medicines for the civilian population died as a result of the Russian attack on its logistics center near Kharkov. The facility was shot at late on Saturday evening. Six people died and 17 were injured.
On Sunday, Nowa Poczta published a short recording on the X platform (formerly Twitter) showing the moment of the explosion.
“Our colleagues spent the last seconds of their lives helping – sorting parcels with medicines and humanitarian aid for the civilian population suffering as a result of the war,” the company said.
“Russia destroyed a civilian building and should be convicted of war crimes,” the post added.

They didn’t have time to reach the shelter
The Russian army shelled the logistics center of New Post in the village of Korotych near Kharkov late on Saturday evening. The attack killed six people and injured 17. Fragments of the Russian S-300 missile were found at the site of the attack.
The nv.ua portal wrote that the logistics center was launched in 2020. The workers had no chance to run to the shelter because the sirens sounded “a few seconds before the attack.”
