Anyone who helps Russian terrorists to destroy lives deserves the highest punishment, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said. The leader confirmed that the Ukrainian services arrested a man who helped the Russians in Tuesday’s rocket attack on Kramatorsk in the east of the country.

On Tuesday evening, the Russians attacked Kramatorsk with rockets, hitting a restaurant and a residential area. At least 11 people were killed and over 60 injured.

Children are among the dead and injured. The services reported that two 14-year-old twins died. A 17-year-old girl also died. The injuries were An 8-month-old baby whose life is not in danger.

On Wednesday evening, the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the Ukrainian services arrested a man who helped the Russians in Tuesday’s attack. “Today the Security Service (SBU) and special forces of the police arrested the person who coordinated this terrorist attack,” he said. – It was an attack on a popular pizzeria in Kramatorsk. Neighboring homes, shops and a gas station were also damaged. On a daily basis, it’s usually a city – he added.

“Anyone who helps Russian terrorists destroy lives deserves the highest punishment. This also applies to collaborators. They have no humanity in them. They may get life for it. The accomplices of a terrorist state must be treated as traitors to humanity, stressed the Ukrainian leader.

Earlier on Wednesday, the SBU announced the detainment of a resident of Kramatorsk, who was an agent of Russian intelligence and helped to direct Tuesday’s missile attack.

Kramatorsk target of bombing

Kramatorsk, an important railway junction as well as an industrial and military center, is regularly targeted by Russian bombing.

In April 2022, an attack on a local train station killed 61 people and injured over 160.
