He also assessed that “if Russia does not come to its senses by mid-2025, it will certainly have to make very difficult decisions regarding its financial and economic system.”
– The year 2025 will be definitely better than the current one. There are objective reasons for this and I hope that in 2025 we will see many good events that will ultimately bring us all what we are all waiting for, said General Kyrylo Budanov, head of military intelligence, in a television program Ukraine (HUR). Budanov assessed that “if Russia does not come to its senses by mid-2025, it will certainly have to make very difficult decisions regarding its financial and economic system.”
“A stable Belarus is very important to us”
Answering a question about possible changes in mood in Russian society, he said that there was no indication of this at the moment. He also noted that he would be cautious in assessing the situation Belaruswhich is stable. – A stable Belarus is very important to us. We will see over time what will happen there during the elections, he said.
Budanow also assessed the possibilities of continuing through Russia war against Ukraine. In his opinion, the Kremlin is able to extend it “on the same scale as today.” – Unfortunately, the number of missiles possessed by the Russian Federation is absolutely sufficient to continue its terrorist activities – he emphasized.
What happened in Syria? “Maybe we were passing by somewhere too.”
The head of HUR also spoke, among others: on the overthrow of the Bashar al-Assad regime Syria. He suggested that Ukrainian services were involved.
– Wherever dictatorial regimes fall and where these regimes meet regimes that fight against us, it will always be to our advantage. How did it happen? Somehow it happened. The Russian Federation officially from the podium UN in the person of her representative (Vasily), Nebenzi accused our organization of this at the beginning of these events (in Syria). This is their version. Everyone was working on it: The Turks were working on it and maybe we were also passing by somewhere, he said.
Budanov also commented on the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crashed in the territory Kazakhstan on December 25, flying from Baku to Grozny, Russia. In his opinion, “the Russian Federation cynically shot down the plane when its crew contacted the ground staff asking for an emergency landing, the Russians clearly understood that they had shot it down.” – They did everything to ensure that the plane simply fell into the sea. There were five airports nearby. All these fairy tales about bad weather and that there was something on the road – these are just fairy tales – he said.
To reach Kazakhstan, the Azeri plane flew over the Caspian Sea. Budanow assessed that the Russians hoped that they would cover up any traces that would allow them to be held responsible for the plane crash. – But thank God he reached the shoreline. A number of people managed to survive. I consider it a miracle, emphasized the head of HUR.
