Ukraine. Dmytro Kułeba: in relations with Poland we see readiness to solve problems

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that it was time to start solving problems in relations with Poland. He emphasized that his country’s victory against Russia was in Poland’s vital interest.

– We have seen the readiness to solve problems, now it is time to solve them. And there will continue to be contacts with the new Polish government at all levels, announced the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Friday Dmytro Kuleba.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy referred to the arrangements made during the recent visit of the head of Polish diplomacy Radosław Sikorskiwho was in Kiev on December 22.

Comment after Kułeba’s meeting with Sikorski

Kułeba recalled that Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski during his visit to Kiev and meeting with the president Ukraine he gave him certain signals from the new Polish government and presented Warsaw’s position with regard to solving existing problems, wrote the Ukrinform agency, discussing Kułeba’s interview with journalist Wadym Karpiak.

– We will look for solutions. Moreover, Ukraine’s victory is in Poland’s vital interest and is a matter of Poland’s survival. Therefore, problems must be solved, emphasized Kułeba.

One of the most serious problems in Polish-Ukrainian relations are protests and blockades at border crossings, which hinder normal movement between the two countries.
