The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been going on for 472 days. British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly accused Iran of supplying Russia with munitions that it is using in the war in Ukraine. The presidents of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alyaksandr Lukashenko, met in Sochi. Here are the highlights of the last hours.

> In Russian-occupied Nowa Kakhovka in the south Ukraine the water level began to fall after the flood caused by the destruction of the dam of the local power plant. > British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly alleged Iranthat it supplies Russia with the ammunition it uses in war in Ukraine. This is the first accusation of this type by the British government. – Iran provides Russia with a steady stream of weapons and ammunition that is used to kill civilians in Ukraine. In return, Russia is providing Iran with advanced military technology, financial support and advice that the regime can use to threaten our partners in the Middle East and quell protests.

> The presidents of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alyaksandr Lukashenko, met in Sochi – they reported. The meeting took place in an “informal atmosphere”, and during the conversation the presidents raised, among other things, the issue of deploying Belarus Russian nuclear weapons.

> Russia’s withdrawal from the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) was condemned by NATO members. In a statement by the North Atlantic Council of the Alliance, it was written that Moscow’s decision “is the latest in a series of actions that systematically undermine Euro-Atlantic security.” It was emphasized that the treaty is “the cornerstone of Europe’s security architecture”.

> Government of Hungary negotiated with the Russians release and transfer of 11 prisoners of war – Hungarians from Ukrainian Zakarpattia. Kiev did not know about the whole affair, so the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the charge d’affaires of Hungary.

> The Pentagon has announced another arms package for Ukraine. The new tranche of the arms procurement program includes, among others, Patriot and HAWK missiles and Puma drones. The package is worth over two billion dollars.

> On Monday (June 12), the Weimar Triangle Summit with the participation of the president will take place in Paris Andrzej Duda and Chancellor Olaf Scholz on military and humanitarian aid and security guarantees for Ukraine, the Elysée Palace announced.
