The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been going on for 483 days. The number of people killed when the Russians blew up a dam on the Dnieper River in Nova Kakhovka has risen to 21, Ukraine’s Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko announced on Telegram. Here are the highlights of the last hours.

> In Kherson, Russian troops fired on Ukrainian emergency services workers who were cleaning up the city after a flood caused by the enemy blowing up a dam on the Dnieper River in Nova Kakhivka. One person was killed and eight injured, Andriy Yermak, head of the president’s office (chancellery) informed Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

> In the largest Russia gunpowder factory for firearms and artillery ammunition, located in the city of Kotovsk near Tambov, there was an explosion – reported the Ukrainian portal Obozrevatel for Russian state agencies and media. At least four people were killed and dozens injured, according to reports.

> Three out of eleven Ukrainian POWs of Hungarian origin, freed from captivity in Russia and transported without our knowledge to Hungaryhas already returned to its homeland. We are taking steps to bring the remaining people from there as well, Oleh Nikolenko, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, said on Tuesday.

> The war in Ukraine could end surprisingly quickly, said Ivo Juurvee of the Estonian International Center for Defense and Security. The expert added that Ukrainian intelligence and its allies, mainly Americans, understand what the Russian army is doing better than the Russians themselves.

> Closely related to Vladimir Putin brothers Arkady and Boris Rotenberg, belonging to the richest citizens of Russia, effectively hid expensive real estate in Western European countries. One of them, located in Austria, was used by Putin’s daughter Maria Vorontsova, OCCRP and Wazhnye Istori portals revealed.

> In Belarus, preparations are underway to receive Russian nuclear missiles, storage locations for these weapons are being prepared, but so far no nuclear warhead has been transported there, said the head of the Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR), General Kyrylo Budanov, quoted by the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
