Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has been going on for 522 days. On Sunday morning, the mayor of Moscow announced that the city was attacked using drones – no one was killed, one person was supposed to be injured. Russia once again accused Ukraine of carrying out such an attack, but the Ukrainians do not confirm this information. Here are the highlights of the last hours.

> On the night from Saturday to Sunday, Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow, the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, announced on Telegram. Two office buildings were damaged. According to a statement from the Ministry of Defence Russia, quoted by the TASS agency, three drones attacked Moscow on Sunday morning, one of which was destroyed in the air on the outskirts of Moscow, and two fell in the area of ​​\u200b\u200bthe Moscow-City office and business complex. One person was supposed to be injured.

> Russia cannot agree to a ceasefire while Ukrainian forces are attacking, Russian dictator assessed on Saturday night after the Africa-Russia summit Vladimir Putin. The politician assessed that “the Ukrainian army is moving forward, attacking, conducting a large-scale strategic offensive. There is no reason to ask us to cease fire. > Two people were killed and one injured in rocket fire on Zaporizhia. Anatoly Kurtiev, secretary of the city council, announced in a Telegram post on Saturday that the missile hit the south-east. Saturday’s attack on Zaporizhia comes as Russia steps up its attacks on civilians in the central eastern Ukraine.

> In the Sumy region, local authorities reported on Telegram, there was a series of explosions after the Russians fired 25 missiles at nine municipalities. One person died.

> Saudi Arabia will host Ukraine’s peace talks, The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday. As reported, Russia will not participate in the talks. The meeting is to be attended by up to 30 countries, including such developing powers as India and Brazil. The talks are to take place from 5 to 6 August in Jeddah. The US and European countries hope that thanks to the talks, the states of the global south will support peace solutions that will be beneficial for Ukraine.

> The UNESCO mission arrived in Odessa on Saturday to assess the damage caused by Russian missile attacks, the portal of the Ukrainian Pravda daily reported. As a result of last week’s rocket fire the historic Transfiguration Cathedral was destroyedas well as many buildings in the historic part of the city.

> On Saturday was the anniversary of the crime in Olenivka – as the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said, one of the cruelest crimes committed by Russia. “We will never forget or forgive them,” the Ukrainian leader said.
