> Minister of Defense German Boris Pistorius announced a new aid package for Ukraine worth EUR 400 million. It includes, among others, ammunition, the politician said on Monday in an interview with the Bild daily portal. However, the package does not include the Taurus cruise missiles demanded by Ukraine.
> The Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT) investigative project has published photos of the Russian ship submarine Rostov-on-Don, which was damaged as a result of the Ukrainian attack on the night of September 12-13. According to the Ukrainian military website Defense Express, the nature of the damage to the unit means “multi-year repairs” whose cost will reach “hundreds of millions of dollars.”
> US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Vice President of the People’s Republic of China Han Zheng on the sidelines of the 78th session of the General Assembly UN. As the State Department spokesman said, the conversation concerned, among other things, war in Ukraine.
> The Ukrainian government informed Fr dismissal of six deputy defense ministers. Among them is Hanna Malar, who provided ongoing information on the course of the counteroffensive against Russian troops. This is another significant reshuffle in the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
