> President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke on the phone with President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday on a 10-point peace formula to end the war, the Ukrainian president’s office said. “The synchronization of positions on the eve of the virtual G7 summit and the conference in support of Ukraine in Paris,” the Ukrainian leader wrote on Twitter.
> The Ukrainian army will resume its counter-offensive against the Russian occupiers soon, weather permitting, Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov announced on Sunday during a meeting in Odessa Pal Jonson, Swedish Defense Minister. “Ukrainian armed forces are not thinking about stopping operations at all. Rather, they want to seize the moment when the frost will make the ground hard to resume the counter-offensive,” Reznikov said.
> Ukraine gets German weapons, but what kind? We are not getting, at least for now, the Leopard 2 tanks that we need most, Ukrainian Foreign Minister said on Sunday evening Dmytro Kuleba on German TV ARD. He added that Germany has promised more weapons, but they are still delaying the Leopard 2 tanks that Kiev has been demanding for a long time.
> Due to Russian attacks on the Ukrainian power grid, the situation in Odessa, as well as in other regions of the country, is difficult, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday evening in a video address. “We are doing everything to restore light in Odessa,” he assured.
> President of the USA Joe Biden stressed during a Sunday telephone conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky that the US prioritizes efforts to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense through the assistance offered, the White House said in a statement.
> On the territory of the city of Kadiivka on the territory of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic there was an explosion on Saturday in the hotel where the headquarters of the so-called Wagner group was located Serhiy Haidai, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said on Telegram. Also on Saturday evening, Himars rockets hit a hotel in Melitopol occupied by the Russian military.
