The Russian invasion of Ukraine lasts for the 99th day. Russia launched a missile attack on the Beskidzki Railway Tunnel passing through the Carpathians in the Lviv region. > Russian missiles hit western Ukraine in the Stryj region in the Lviv region, wrote the head of the Lviv regional military administration Maksym Kozicki in Telegram. > United States approved the eleventh package of military aid for Ukraine US President Joe Biden announced on Wednesday. The US military support package includes, among other things, the HIMARS rocket artillery system.
> Ukraine’s ambassador to Germany, Andrij Melnyk, described the decision of the German government to provide Ukraine with a modern Iris-T air defense system from Diehl as a breakthrough.
> The United Kingdom has asked the US for permission to transfer the M270 MLRS missile artillery system to Ukraine, the Politico portal reported. US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson were to talk about the matter. MLRS is an older and heavier version of the HIMARS system.
