“The invaders hit civilian objects in the middle of the day. Eight high-rise apartment buildings and four cars were damaged,” Synehubov wrote on Telegram.

On Tuesday evening, the Ukrinform agency reported that the number of people injured in the shelling after 1 p.m. Ukrainian time (12 noon in Poland) was 43, including 12 children.

Attack using the Iskander ballistic missile

“The attack, probably carried out using the Iskander medium-range ballistic missile, took place at the moment when the funeral ceremony for a soldier killed on the Bakhmut front was taking place in Pervomaisky,” we read in the messages published on Telegram by Synehubov and the police of the Kharkiv region, as well as in a cable from the Interfax agency Ukraine, which referred to the regional prosecutor’s office in Kharkov.

“Another war crime. Brazen disregard for all norms of international law. The whole world must unite its forces to stop and punish the terrorist state,” commented Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin on the events in Pervomaisky.
