Mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko said in an interview with Artur Molęda from TVN24 that his country is afraid of Russia’s renewed attack on Kyiv from Belarus. However, he stipulated that Ukrainian troops were preparing for this attack and were stronger than before the open war that had been going on since February.

– We fear a potential invasion from the north, from the side Belarus. We can see that two dictators: Lukashenka and Putin have close relations – he said in an interview with TVN24 envoy in Ukraine Klitschko.

“They are not successful at the front. This will end badly for the dictatorship in Russia and in Belarus. They promised that they would conquer our territories within a week, and the war has been going on for almost a year, he stressed, talking about the occupiers and the situation in the east and south of the country, where the Ukrainians managed to recapture a lot of land since the summer.

The mayor of Kiev pointed out that the Ukrainian army “is preparing for a possible attack and is stronger than before the invasion.”

This is thanks to the support of our friends. Thank you very much Poland for your help. During the meeting with the mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski we talked about support for Ukraine and building relations – added Witalij Klitschko.

Klitschko: we have about a 20 percent energy deficit

When asked about the availability of electricity and water in Kiev, he admitted that the situation in the country’s capital is difficult. “We have about a 20 percent energy deficit. This means that not every family has access to electricity. We have to turn off the electricity in some districts and it’s cold outside,” he said.

It’s not easy, but we’re fighting. We will not win without a fight, and we are fighting for a free Europe. Putin wants to rebuild the USSR and is also lurking for Poland. We do not want this return, and our future is in the European Union, added the mayor of Kiev.
