Russian ships attacked at the shipyard in Sevastopol are no longer suitable for repair, said a representative of Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR). On Wednesday, a submarine and a large landing craft were damaged there as a result of a missile attack.
On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, Ukrainian forces carried out an attack on the shipyard in Sevastopol. A fire broke out in the shipyard after the attack, and the operation resulted in, among other things, damage to two Russian units.
– This is significant damage and it can now be said with a high degree of probability that it cannot be repaired – said Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR). According to him, the attacked Russian units were the Minsk landing ship and the Rostov submarine on the Don.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense in Moscow reported that Ukrainian troops fired 10 cruise missiles at Sevastopol, seven of which were shot down by anti-missile defense forces. There was also a naval drone attack on a group of Russian ships at sea. The Kremlin maintains that all drones were destroyed, announced the Krym.Realii portal, the Crimean branch of Radio Svoboda.
Reuters reported, in turn, that in Sevastopol, where there are, among others, the main base and command of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the sounds of at least 10 strong explosions were heard last night and early Wednesday morning.
