A violent storm hit the village of Pietraszówka in the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine over the weekend. The strong wind that accompanied the element tore off the roofs of the houses. Nearly 20 buildings were damaged.

The storm lasted only a few minutes but was so strong that it damaged roofs, houses and fences in the village of Pietraszówka in the Chernivtsi region. Fragments of the structure flew in the air, which can be seen in the recordings. The element was accompanied by heavy rain and hail.

The wind completely blew off the roof of one of the houses. The element partially damaged another 18 buildings. There are cases where parts of the fence have not yet been found, said Vasyl Skripkaru, a representative of the authorities from the Hertz region. – Everyone saw that it could be stormbut no one expected this to happen. A very strong wind blew up, local residents say it was like a tornado, he added.

Villagers repaired damaged roofs and buildings on their own. No one was injured, according to local media.
