Ukraine. President Andrzej Duda visits Kiev, consults with Volodymyr Zelensky

Andrzej Duda pays a visit to Kiev, the presidential office reported. As it was added, the Polish president is holding consultations with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky on the “current situation at the front”, including Russian threats in the context of the attack on the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant.

Office of the President of the Republic of Poland announced on Twitter Wednesday afternoon that the president Andrzej Duda pays a visit to Kiev that day. “The talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky are related to the celebration of the Ukrainian Constitution Day, as well as consultations on the current situation at the front, including the threat of a Russian attack on the Zaporozhian nuclear power plant,” it was reported.

“The preparations for the July Summit will also be discussed FOR THIS” – we read.

This is the fifth visit of the Polish president to Ukraine since the start of a full-scale war. After February 24, 2022, Andrzej Duda was in Ukraine: in April 2022, together with the presidents Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia visited, among others Borodianka, Irpień and Bucza – villages near Kiev destroyed by Russian troops, in May 2022 he delivered a speech before the Supreme Council of Ukraine, in August 2022 he took part in the deliberations of the Crimean Platform, and in January 2023 he participated in the meeting of the Lublin Triangle in Lviv. The day before the outbreak of war, Andrzej Duda paid a visit to Kiev together with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda.
