Saturday is the 101st day of the war in Ukraine. The head of the authorities of the Luhansk region, Serhiy Haydaj, said that the Ukrainians managed to get 20 percent of Severodonetsk from the hands of the Russians. About 50 percent of the city is currently occupied, he said. The police of the Kiev region reported that the bodies of 1,314 murdered civilians were found in the region. > On Friday evening, the general staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced that the enemy concentrated his main efforts in the Donetsk direction near Severodonetsk. Under the cover of artillery, the Russian forces carried out assault operations in the residential quarters of the eastern part of the city. The opponent “has partial success, active combat operations are underway” – announced the staff.
> Ukrainian forces recaptured part of the territory of the city of Severodonetsk in the Luhansk region from the hands of the Russian army, said Serhiy Haydai, the head of the region’s authorities in eastern Ukraine. – I have heard many times that Severodonetsk is completely occupied by the Russian army. > Two Reuters journalists were injured in shelling near Severodonetsk in eastern Ukraine. They were driving a car provided by Russia-backed separatists and driven by a person appointed by the separatists. The driver of the vehicle was killed.
