The night from Wednesday to Thursday and Thursday morning in Ukraine were marked by Russian attacks. An air alert was announced twice throughout the country. In Odessa, Russian forces hit an energy infrastructure facility, residential buildings were damaged, but there were no casualties, Ukrainian regional authorities informed. Explosions were also recorded in Kiev and Kharkov, the Russians also hit Nikopol from the Grad launcher.

At 2.40 local time, an air alert was announced for the entire area Ukraine. The sounds of explosions were heard in Kherson, Odessa and Mykolaiv, Ukrainian Pravda reported.

In Odessa, Russian forces hit an energy infrastructure facility, residential buildings were damaged, but there were no casualties, regional authorities said. The head of the oblast administration, Maksym Marchenko, wrote in Telegram about power supply restrictions and the shooting down of several drones by the air defense.

Outbreaks were also reported in Kharkiv. “We expect a second wave of the attack, so we appeal to the inhabitants of the region to stay in shelters,” the district administration announced.

The Russians hit Nikopol with the Grad launcher, six are injured, including two children, local authorities said. “Nikopol suffered from enemy fire from heavy artillery and Grads. All victims are from Nikopol. They are an 11-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy. Also – three women and a man. They are from 40 to 74 years old. They are all in average condition. In the city, 24 private houses were damaged, one of them caught fire, rescuers put out the fire,” the district administration wrote on Telegram.

Attacks on Kyiv. Klitschko: cars are burning in the yard

Two people were injured after a Russian missile attack on Kiev, the mayor of the Ukrainian capital Vitaly Klitschko said. Three shells fell on the city in the morning. One of them hit the yard of a residential building.

“Another explosion in the capital. Sviatoshino district. All services go to the site. Cars are burning in the yard of one of the residential buildings,” Klitschko wrote in Telegram.

The mayor of Kiev also informed that as a result of the attack, the power grid operators preventively stopped electricity supplies to some residents.

“Due to the rocket attack, power engineers used technological power cut-offs in the capital. For now, about 15 percent of consumers remain without light,” Klitschko wrote in Telegram.

Shelling in the west of Ukraine and in the Kharkiv region

In the morning, the Russians also carried out attacks in the west of the country and 15 missile strikes in the Kharkiv region, after which an air alert was announced throughout the country. Explosions also occurred in the west of Ukraine, where bombs fell in Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast was also attacked.

The largest number of Russian missiles fell on Kharkiv and Kharkiv oblast, said the head of the oblast military administration, Oleg Synehubov.

“The enemy made 15 strikes on the city (Kharkiv) and the region. The occupiers are again targeting critical infrastructure facilities. According to preliminary data, the missile hit a private house in the Kharkiv region. Information on possible casualties and damage is being established,” he wrote in Telegram.
