“As you know, we negotiated with our ally Lukashenko to move some of these tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, and we did,” Putin said.

The White House: Putin’s highly irresponsible rhetoric

The words of the Russian president were answered by the US. White House Deputy Olivia Dalton condemned Russia’s nuclear threats as “highly irresponsible” and reaffirmed US commitments to NATO.

Earlier, the head of US diplomacy referred to Putin’s words Anthony Blinken. as he said United States they are constantly monitoring the situation, but they see no signs that Russia is about to use its nuclear weapons.

“We see no reason to change our own deployment of nuclear forces, we see no indication that Russia is preparing to use nuclear weapons,” the secretary of state told a conference with his Singaporean counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan.
