According to Błaszczak, “Russia – white, red or Putin – has always been the same”. The Russians have committed war crimes and they are still doing it, said the minister in Kiev.
– I saw in Irpien what was happening under the Russian occupation, all these war crimes – said the head of the Polish Ministry of Defense, who, after visiting a town near Kyiv, held a conversation in the Ukrainian capital with the Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Oleksiy Reznikov.
Commenting on the meeting, Błaszczak informed that he had talked with his Ukrainian counterpart, among others about “the possibility of training Ukrainian soldiers in Poland”. – So far, artillerymen have been trained in Poland, and sappers can also be trained. We know that the Russians left mines in the occupied areas that need to be removed. We are ready to train soldiers so that they can clear the territory of Ukraine, he assured.
Reznikow: Poland accepted our citizens as its own
FranceGermany and Italy changed their approach for the better. The anti-Kremlin coalition already consists of over 50 countries, not only from NATO and the EU, said Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov.
The Ukrainian minister also stressed the importance of the aid provided to Ukraine by Poland. – Poland received the first wave of Ukrainians fleeing the war, our people were forced to flee and fled to Poland, which accepted them as its own – reminded the politician.
– If we measure the aid provided to Ukraine in terms of money, Poland – behind the USA – is in second place in the world. Other countries with larger budgets are not helping us as much as Poland is helping, emphasized Reznikov.
