Ukrainian forces have liberated the village of Urozajne in the Donetsk region and are strengthening their positions, Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malar said in a message on Telegram. Previously, the Ukrainian media, citing their own sources, reported on the liberation of the village blocking the way for Ukrainian forces towards the occupied cities of Bedyansk and Mariupol.
“Urożajne has been liberated. Our defenders are strengthening their positions. The offensive operations are underway,” Hanna Malar wrote on Wednesday on the Telegram channel.
Two days earlier, Malar reported “certain successes” of the Ukrainian forces in Urozhayn, located on the border of the Zaporizhia and Donetsk oblasts. At that time, Ukrainian media reported that Ukrainian forces recaptured a village from the enemy, blocking their way to the occupied cities of Berdyansk and Mariupol.
