Russia's invasion of Ukraine began 900 days ago. At least 13 people were wounded in the western Russian city of Kursk by debris from a destroyed missile fired by Ukrainian forces, Reuters reports, citing local authorities. Ukrainian troops have been on the offensive in the region since Tuesday.

Witnesses cited by Reuters said they heard at least two explosions that sounded like air defense systems engaged in destroying enemy facilities.

Minsk demanded that Kiev take steps to prevent such incidents in the future. It added that such incidents could lead to “further escalation of the situation in the region.” It also warned that in the event of “repeat provocations” in the future Belarus may take “retaliatory measures.” Threatened to close the Ukrainian embassy if such incidents occur again.
The authorities in Kiev have not officially commented on the allegations from Minsk, and Lukashenko has not provided any evidence that Ukrainian drones have actually crossed the country's airspace.
