The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada adopted the so-called law on oligarchs in its second, final reading. It assumes the creation of a register of oligarchs, and persons entered into it will not be able to, inter alia, finance political parties.
279 deputies of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada voted in favor of the law on oligarchs. The 229 voters are politicians from the ruling Servant of the People faction.
Some opposition representatives blocked the parliamentary rostrum on Thursday.
