The presidents of the USA and Ukraine, Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelensky, held a telephone conversation on Sunday. The American leader assured Washington that efforts to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense are a priority, the White House said in a statement.

He also informed about the telephone conversation with Biden Volodymyr Zelensky on the Telegram channel. “I thanked (the US president) for the unprecedented military and financial assistance he has provided United States they provide Ukraine (…) This not only contributes to success on the battlefield, but also supports the stability of the Ukrainian economy,” he said.
“We also appreciate the help that the US is providing in rebuilding Ukraine’s energy system,” Zelensky said. Ukraine’s power grid has been damaged by successive Russian attacks since October, mostly with missiles and drones.
