Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelensky: Russians shot at the station in Kherson

Russian forces fired at the railway station in Kherson and the number of injured is being determined, said President Volodymyr Zelensky. Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported that one policeman was killed. Four people were injured, including two civilians.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday that Russian forces shelled the railway station in Kherson in the south of the country. The number of victims is not yet known.

– There was a Russian attack at the train station. There was an evacuation train there, Zelensky said in his evening video address. – All services are already on site. The number of dead and injured is being determined. There were many civilians there, he added.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said on Telegram that one policeman was killed and two others were injured in the incident. They were transported to hospital. Two civilians were also injured. Klymenko added that thanks to the police’s actions, they managed to transport people to “safe places.”

It is known that the station building and the train were damaged.
