Ukrainian Health Minister Viktor Laszko, quoted by the AP agency, said that with each passing month the payment of salaries to health care workers is becoming more difficult due to the war. He called the financial support “an investment that will be another step closer to Ukraine’s victory.”

USAID has so far provided Kiev with $ 4 billion in budget support. These funds were intended, as stated in the press release, to provide gas and electricity supplies to schools and hospitals, humanitarian aid to citizens, payment of salaries to officials and teachers.
