NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is visiting the United States. “Ukraine has launched its offensive, is making progress and is gaining ground,” he told US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday, adding that the Alliance’s support for Kiev “makes a difference on the battlefield.”

USA (…) and European allies are doing their part with billions of dollars in economic and military aid. And that support is making all the difference on the battlefield as we speak now. Ukraine has launched its offensive, is making progress and is gaining ground,” Stoltenberg said during a welcome with the chief of American diplomacy.

He added that the more lands the Ukrainians liberate, the stronger their position at the negotiating table will be and “the more likely that President Putin will understand that he will not win this war.”
