Ukrainian “despises food from Poland”? Don't believe in this movie

In the first days of March, a recording was made available in the Polish network to show how the allegedly ungrateful Ukrainian woman is to criticize the content of the assistance package received from Poland. The woman (on the screen we see only a hand indicating things) first shows the cardboard box of Polish Caritas with the inscription “Package for Ukraine”, and then products that were inside. We hear the alleged author of the recording tells Ukrainian: “This is a total pier *** k. In the package cheap Polish g *** o. I seriously tell you, they want to poison us.” He comments on individual products: “cheap canned goods, then it will go away, for dogs it will be suitable. In jars they stuffed some g *** a, which I would not even eat under the barrel of Kałach.” Finally, he states: “Zero Italian pasta, no ch *** a. Even the pierce did not give shrimp, only some crap. Pathetic prosecco as a gift, nobody even thought to add. In short, Poles, pay with such a humanither.” Subtitles in Polish were imposed on the recording.

The film about the “ungrateful” Ukrainian woman quickly gained popularity and was massively available on accounts regularly publishing anti -Ukrainian content. Within a few days it could be seen, among others On Facebook, on X, on the Threads platform, on YouTube or some Polish forums. Many posts had a similar, typically disinformation message: Ukrainians are ungrateful for Polish assistance financed from our taxes, so maybe it would be worth considering its completion and redirection, e.g. for children and needy. “They send help for our taxes, and in exchange we get 'cheap Polish shit' and 'want to poison us'? Can add shrimp and prosecco? It does not fit – do not take – maybe it's time to think about who is really worth helping”; “Their gratitude. Oksana from Ukraine lives in Poland and complains that in her free food packages they put 'cheap Polish shit' and did not add any 'fucking shrimp' and 'prosecco' '; “The famous Ukrainian gratitude. Ukrainian, who received free humanitarian aid from Poles, is outraged by the fact that she was given 'cheap Polish pigs' without shrimp and prosecco. Is this an extreme level of insolence or can it be even worse?” – These are examples of entries (the spelling of all posts original).

Regional accounts of the Polish Defense League were particularly active in the popularization of this film. This association writes about itself that “shows the true face of Islam and prevents Polish Islamization.” The copied entries emphasized that “Poland sends humanitarian aid for our taxes, and in exchange we hear that it is a” cheap Polish shit “. “One of the Ukrainians openly despises food from Poland, calling it 'shit', although these are the same products that we buy in our stores For Polish children, seniors and needy? ” – asked on the profiles of this association.

Of course, the film with complaining about Polish help from Ukrainian, of course, did not escape the attention of Russian propaganda. It was made available on Russian -speaking accounts on the X, Telegram or VK platform (former Vkontaktie). There, the same description was also often copied, in which sentences from the film were cited, adding: “Chachłuszka (the contemptuous Russian term Ukrainian – ed.) Opens a set of free Polish humanitarian aid and attacks Poles with vulgarisms, because she doesn't like it. Poles were stunned.”

Recording published Also on one of the Russian discussion forums. Its users criticized the claim of Ukrainians. “Type Ukrainians, they always behave like that”; “Europeans still have not realized who they are dealing with?”; “We should show such films to Poles and the rest of Europe. Nobody can return everyone against Ukraine better than Ukrainians,” they wrote.

Referring to the last comment, it can be ironically stated that this film should actually be shown to Poles – but to prove how Russian and anti -Ukrainian propaganda works. The recording was manipulated: the image is real, but the audio layer is not. The voice of “ungrateful” Ukrainian woman was put into the film. Because the real author of this video praised the help received from Poland.

The woman, showing products from the Polish package, says: “Today I received humanitarian aid from the Caritas Foundation. These are two giant packages. Everything is here. We were very impressed by the amount of things. It's just everything here.”

From previous films posted by a woman, it can be concluded that before the invasion of Russia in Ukraine she lived in Cherson, but after the Russian army entered, she had to resort to Mikołajów. There she got a help package from Caritas Polska as part of the “Help for Ukraine” campaign. The suggestions that this help have been financed from Polish taxes are untrue. These packages were prepared by private individuals or business donors who delivered them to the parishes participating in the campaign. Then they were transferred to transhipment warehouses and sent to “residents of Ukraine in a particularly difficult situation.” The author of the film escaped from Khersonia with three children, her husband serves in the army and appears on recordings only when she goes out on the passes.

So the film was deliberately manipulated so as to evoke negative emotions in Poles towards “ungrateful Ukrainians”. And this is one of the basic goals of Russian disinformation. In addition, in the Polish translation of the converted film, the construction of some sentences and individual words may suggest that they were written by a Russian -speaking person. This is evidenced, for example, by the use of adjectives after the noun (“Coffee eats ** a”) or words such as “humanither”, which do not exist in Polish, but are carbon from Russian. In addition, the scale and way of disseminating this video in the Polish and Russian network indicate that we are dealing with a coordinated action calculated to conflict Poles and Ukrainians.
