Ukrainian special forces carried out a landing on Friday on the Kinburn Spit in southern Ukraine on the Black Sea, occupied by Russian troops, Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR) reported. As it wrote in a statement, “dozens of occupiers were eliminated” and their equipment was destroyed.
Military Intelligence (HUR) reported that as a result of the air raid on the occupied spit, six enemy armored vehicles were destroyed and about 30 Russian soldiers were “liquidated”.
Special forces attacked three Russian positions. The HUR banner was hung at one of them.
“Kinburn Spit will be free, like all other temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine,” the statement, accompanied by a video, said.
The Russians occupied the Kinburn Spit in Mykolaiv Oblast at the beginning of a full-scale war in 2022.
