– I literally didn't see the ball through the tears. I could barely breathe. I thought I just had to take your breath. After the match I cried, but not necessarily because I lost. Of course I was very nervous. I saw him in the first match and I thought I didn't know how I would finish him – said Raducanu in conversations with journalists, returning to this situation.
Raducanu is still far from form. In 2021 she won the Grand Slam US Open, and this is her only scalp in WTA tournaments. – I like the fact that she recently went to Singapore to play more matches – said Laura Robson, a former tennis player. “I don't go too far into the future, I just try to live day after day, taking into account the current situation,” she added Raducanu.

The British media reports that Raducanu parted with coach Vladimir Platenik after a two -week trial period. The coach “survived” only the match with Sayaka Ishia in the first round of the Miami tournament. “Emma has the highest respect for Vlado and the work they did, but it did not quite head in the right direction. Emma is now focusing on the best performance in Miami and will continue to look for the right coach,” said the IMG agency.
– Emma turned to me in a similar situation immediately after winning the US Open in 2021, so I said that it could be coaching suicide. Now she was in a completely different situation – said the platenik while starting cooperation with Raducan. Platelet has survived only fourteen days as a Raducan coach.
