The registered unemployment rate in July was 5.8 percent. This is a decrease of 0.1 percentage point compared to June. This is the result of the preliminary data of the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology.
Deputy Minister of Development, Labor and Technology, Iwona Michałek, pointed out that “July was the fifth month in a row when the level of registered unemployment in Poland decreased”. “The latest data on unemployment show that we are slowly returning to a stable economic path. The good situation on the labor market in Poland is primarily the result of protective measures taken by the government” – said the deputy head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, quoted in the press release.

According to the Ministry’s data, the lowest registered unemployment rate was recorded in the Wielkopolskie voivodship (3.5%). On the other hand, the Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodship was classified (8.9%). The ministry pointed out that in no voivodship the unemployment rate exceeded 9%.
