The May temperature record was fallen on Sunday in the United Arab Emirates. In Sweihan in the center of the country, thermometers showed 51.6 degrees Celsius. It was fucked in the capital of the country, Abu Dhabi, where on Friday the temperature also increased above 50 degrees.
According to the National Meteorological Center of the United Arab Emirates on Saturday, the warmest point on the map of the country was the town of Sweihan. Around 13.45 local time thermometers showed 51.6 degrees Celsius there.
This is the highest temperature that has ever been registered in ZAA in May, and only 0.4 degrees C. less than the historical record of the country from 2010.
Two records in a row
This week, the temperature records in the UAE were literally day by day. On Friday, meteorological services reported that in the capital of the country, Abu Dhabi, on thermometers, 50.4 degrees C. The previous record for May was recorded in 2009 and was 50.2 degrees C.
