It was with some disgust that I observed such faithful submission and, in fact, the recognition of itself as a US colony by Law and Justice politicians – said Anna Maria Żukowska (Left Wing) in “Kropka nad i”. She commented on the reactions of the Polish political scene to the election results in the United States. Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Piotr Zgorzelski (PSL, Trzecia Droga) called the behavior of PiS and Confederation politicians a “spectacle”.

Although only partial election results are known so far USAis both the president who is still in office Joe Bidenas well as the competitor Kamala Harristhey recognized the victory Donald Trump.

The election results were commented on in “Kropka nad i” by the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Piotr Zgorzelski (PSLThird Way) and MP Anna Maria Żukowska (New LeftLeft Club). They pointed out, among other things, how politicians from Law and Justice and Confederation reacted to Donald Trump's victory.

– I must say that I observed with some disgust such faithful submission and, in fact, the recognition of oneself as a colony of the USA by the Law and Justice politicians, who proclaimed a great success as if it was their own victory, honoring Donald Trump and wearing his hats in our meeting chamber. plenary sessions – said Żukowska. As she said, “this seems a bit like questioning the sovereignty that Law and Justice talks about so often and with pleasure.”

The Left MP also said that Trump's victory “will affect not only Polish politics.” – This will affect the policy of the whole of Europe, the European Union. When asked whether the fact that Donald Trump is returning to the White House will help Law and Justice in the Polish presidential elections, Żukowska said that PiS politicians “think that he will be their patron.” In her opinion, PiS assumes that if it replaces its future candidate's election materials with “the image of Donald Trump, it will win the elections in Poland.”

Zgorzelski: It's really embarrassing

– I agree with the President that this show, initiated by MP (Jarosław) Sachajko, who came out as part of a formal motion, waved his hand and Jarosław Kaczyński he stood up with his entire team and applauded Donald Trump (….), it was really embarrassing – said Zgorzelski.

In his opinion, “today we can say that they are behaving as a comprador opposition that worships the leaders of another country more than it respects its own.”
