US elections. Donald Tusk took the floor. Appeal in English

Premier Donald Tusk posted an entry in English on social media in which he mentioned about upcoming presidential elections in United States.

“Harris or Trump? Some say the future Europe depends on American elections, while it depends primarily on us. Provided that Europe finally grows up and believes in its own strength,” said the head of the Polish government in a post on social media.

Donald Tusk also added that “regardless of the outcome, the era of geopolitical outsourcing is over”.

The latest polls indicate that Kamala Harris he has a slight lead over his opponent in three key states – Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. For years, the majority of votes cast in these states supported the Democratic Party, but the trend changed in 2016 when Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton.

In one of the Democratic candidate's spots, the voiceover says that “Donald Trump encouraged Putin to attack our allies.” In the same spot Poland and Ukraine are the main characters.

Harris also submitted letter to US citizens with Polish roots. In it, she indicated her demands regarding solidarity with foreign allies, including Poland and Ukraine. The Democrat also assured that, unlike Trump and the Republican candidate for vice president, JD Vance, she will stand on the side of, among others, Warsaw.
