Anyone who wants to listen to the US President’s speech live can register for the event on the website of the American Embassy in Poland. There it was noted that security protocol would have to be followed. “Large bags, backpacks, umbrellas, as well as banners, posters or flags will not be allowed“, it was written on the institution’s website.

Restrictions can also be expected on the road. TVN24 reporter Jan Piotrowski reported that the nearby Wisłostrada may be closed. He predicted that it also exists possibility of closing the WZ route, the section of which runs along the route Plac Zamkowy-Wisła. Traffic may also be limited on the Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge.

Ambassador Brzezinski signaled on TVN24 that, apart from official talks, it is also possible Joe Biden meets US Embassy staff.

The American president – like his predecessors in the past – will be staying at the Mariott hotel. For security reasons, the routes of Joe Biden’s journey through the streets of Warsaw will not be given. You can expect closed streets, especially on the route from the airport to the city center, and difficulties for both drivers and passengers of public transport.

The plane of the American delegation will land at the Warsaw Okęcie airport. This is where residents will be able to see the Air Force One aircraft. They have been doing this since the mid-twentieth century specially adapted machines, Boeing 747-200B. United States they have several of these planes. Before departure, there are always two machines ready for take-off. Until the last moment, it is a mystery which president will get in.

The word “security” is key here. The plane is packed with systems that are supposed to protect against any attack. It has, among other things, special devices to confuse the track of the rocket. On board there is an operating room, an office, a place for journalists and security, a kitchen, a conference room and a study. The range of the aircraft is unlimited, because the machine is equipped with an aerial refueling system.

Biden in Warsaw will move in a Cadillac One limousine, nicknamed “the beast”. The car is transported by a special plane, which usually brings it a few days before the president’s visit. Often two limousines are brought so that it is not known which vehicle the president is driving.

The design and equipment of the armored limousine is the result of a very detailed specification prepared by the Secret Service. Caddilac One is bulletproof, gasproof, able to withstand explosions. The doors of the presidential limousine are 20 centimeters thick and are made of a combination of titanium alloy reinforced with ceramic plates, steel, Kevlar, aluminum and concrete.
