Three cars in Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz's motorcade collided as they drove to a rally in Milwaukee, injuring several reporters and Walz campaign staffers and sending them to the hospital.
According to a report from journalists and staff traveling with Walz, one of the vans carrying the journalists rear-ended the vehicle in front of it, and then another vehicle in the motorcade rear-ended their car. Several reporters and Walz staff members were injured.

Several people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, including a suspected broken arm and a concussion. The Minnesota governor's vehicle was not involved in the collision. The crash is being investigated by Milwaukee local police.
“President Biden and Vice President Harris called to check on the situation and we greatly appreciate their concern. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Secret Service and all local first responders for their quick response and assistance,” Walz said after the accident.
