US Secretary of Defense Pete HegeSth will be in Poland next week – said the head of the Ministry of National Defense on Friday Władysław Kosiniak -Kamysz. Poland is one of the first countries to visit the new head of the Pentagon, it is an expression of a strong partnership – he pointed out. The American Ministry of Defense announced a secretary's visit to three European countries.
“US Secretary of Defense PetehegSeth will be in Poland next week. This is great news!” – the Minister of Defense wrote on the platform X.
As he pointed out, Poland is one of the first countries to visit the new boss Pentagon.
“This is an expression of a strong partnership PL and the USA. I am looking forward to this visit and fruitful conversations!” – noted Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz.
The visit was also confirmed by the American administration. “The head of Pentagon Pete HegeSeth will visit Germany, Brussels and Poland next week during his first foreign journey,” the Ministry of Defense said. The talks are to concern military cooperation and “emphasizing Poland as a model ally”.
According to the Pentagon, during a week's visit to Europe starting on Monday, HegeSeth intends to visit the army USA stationed in Germanytake part in the meeting of defense ministers NATO in Brussels, as well as a defense contact group meeting conducted by Great Britain Ukraine.
Finally, he will fly to Poland, where “he will meet with Polish leaders to discuss our strong bilateral defensive cooperation, further deterrent actions on the Eastern Flanka NATO and Poland's leadership as a model ally in defense investments and sharing the burden in NATO.”
