The questionnaire consists of six questions. According to the document, the United States ask their European allies, among others, what they need from Washington to participate in any agreements regarding the safety of Ukraine.

“What, if at all, the requirements for US support would be considered to be necessary to participate in security findings? In particular, what short -term and long -term resources, in your opinion, will be required from the US?” – One of the questions sounds.

As Reuters notes, the issue of help from Washington should be “satisfied with many European governments, which clearly stated that they can only provide security guarantees with US support.”

“If the military forces of third countries were to be deployed in Ukraine as part of a peace agreement, what size of such forces commanded by Europeans would you consider the necessary? How and where would these forces be arranged and for how long?” – quotes another of Reuters.

In addition, the document raises the issues of “additional abilities and equipment” that Europe would be able to provide Ukraine in order to “improve its negotiating position and increase pressure on Russia.”

The United States also asked allies about the possibility of the European Union to increase sanctions against Russia and more stringent treatment of those that have already been adopted.
