A 2-year-old child accidentally shot himself with a firearm and died after being taken to hospital, US media reported. According to FOX2, the victim was a police officer’s child.

A 2-year-old child – whose gender was not disclosed – “gained access to an unsecured firearm”. However, the details of the event are not yet known.
