Shortage of ammunition – consequences

Shortages in ammunition have an impact on the education of gun owners – including the uniformed services. “Many instructors have canceled our courses because their companies are out of ammunition and can’t buy anywhere,” said AP Jason Wuestenberg, director of the National Law Enforcement Firearm Instructors Association (NLEFIA). – Going to the shooting range is about more than hitting the target. Shooters learn the basics of aiming their weapons in a safe direction and not keeping their fingers on the trigger until they are ready to take the shot, ”he explained.

According to the American organization Brady, which works against gun violence, 106 people are shot fatally in the United States every day, 95 people are intentionally shot (survive), and 64 people die as a result of suicide with firearms.
