SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule, with four amateur astronauts on board, landed safely on Saturday evening local time off the coast of Florida. The space mission Inspiration4 in orbit around the Earth lasted three days.

Four amateur astronauts flew into space on board the Crew Dragon capsule. The head of the mission was billionaire stunt pilot and pilot Jared Isaacman, who had purchased seats on board for the three remaining crew members: Dr. Hayley Arceneaux, geologist Sian Proctor, who was the pilot, and computer scientist Chris Sembroski.

It was the first orbital mission without professional NASA astronauts or other space agencies. However, all crew members underwent six months of training to prepare them for the requirements of the trip.
