“When sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene, they found the exhausted deer still trying to free itself,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a Facebook post. The animal was trapped for at least two days.
To free the deer entangled in the barbed wire, the officers used bolt cutting shears and an electric saw. When they managed to cut the wire and free the animal, it quickly escaped deep into the forest.
