Former US President Donald Trump published a video on social media showing a graphic depicting Joe Biden tied up. “Trump regularly calls for political violence, and it's time for people to take him seriously,” a spokesman for Biden's campaign said in a statement.

Former President Donald Trump posted a video on social media on Friday showing a graphic depicting a restrained President Joe Biden posted on the back of a pickup truck.

Trump pointed out that the video was taken on Long Island on Thursday, when he attended a wake for New York Police Department officer Jonathan Diller, who was killed this week during a traffic stop.

Storm in the USA after the recording published by Trump

Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement: “This photo was in the back of a pickup truck driving on a highway. Democrats and lunatics are not only inciting vile violence against President Trump and his family, they are actually using the criminal justice system against him.” He referred to the court cases in which Donald Trump is facing, among others, with allegations of financial irregularities by misleading investors in connection with the overstatement of the value of his assets, or criminal charges regarding the transfer of money to the former pornographic star Stormy Daniels, to whom in 2016, through an intermediary, he allegedly offered $130,000 in exchange for silence about their meeting a decade earlier.

And Biden campaign spokesman Michael Tyler wrote in a statement: “Trump regularly calls for political violence, and it's time for people to take him seriously – just ask the Capitol Police officers who were attacked defending our democracy on January 6.”

According to CNN, the video published by Donald Trump is another case of the Republican candidate using dark and brutal images in the upcoming US presidential elections.

Earlier this month, Trump warned that losing the 2024 election would be a “bloodbath” for the U.S. auto industry and the country as a whole.

The remark came after Trump promised a “100 percent tariff” on cars made outside the U.S., arguing that domestic auto production would only be protected if he was elected. The comment came amid a years-long U.S. discussion about the future of the U.S. auto industry, labor unions, the transition to electric vehicles and car factories in Mexico.

Trump called his opponents “vermin”

CNN recalls that former US President Donald Trump said in December that migrants were “poisoning the blood” of the United States.

In another instance, Trump used the word “vermin” to describe his political rivals. At a November Veterans Day rally in New Hampshire, Trump told the crowd, “We will root out the communists, Marxists, fascists and radical leftist thugs who live like vermin within the borders of our country” and warned that “the real threat does not come from the radical right. The real “The threat lies within the radical left and grows every day.” The term was met with widespread condemnation, including from Biden, who compared his comments to “language he heard in Nazi Germany.”
