As Reuters pointed out, this means dismissing almost all employees. A spokeswoman for the US Department of State Tammy Bruce argued that the exemptions are the result of “reorganization”.
According to the Reuters agency, USAID employees (United States Agency for International Development) were informed that all full -time jobs would be eliminated except those required by law. This is to happen in two rounds – in July and September. According to Reuters, this means dismissing almost all employees who remained in the agency. In the note received by agency employees, it was stated that in the next three months the State Department would take over “strategic and life rescue programs”.
