Rubio accuses the agency of “moving away from the mission”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio – who is currently also the head of USAID – he said in a statement that the changes are aimed at “adapting” the agency's activities for the purposes of politics USA And that the agency “has left its original mission.”

Elon Musk, who manages – although informally – the work of the Department of Government Performance (Doge), called the “Criminal Organization” agency, accusing it – without giving evidence – of embezzlement and fraud.

One of the USAID programs

Earlier, Rubio decided to cancel 80 percent. Contracts and grants issued by USAID. Among them was also a subsidy for the Conflict Observatory Center of the Yale University for documentation and tracking of mass exports of Ukrainian children by the Russians.

As Tammy Bruce said on Friday, contrary to reports in the media, this program was not restored on Thursday, but temporarily suspended to enable him to complete the work and send the evidence gathered for Russian war crimes to law enforcement agencies.

Despite this, Bruce assured that both Marc Rubio and Donald Trump very care about the fate of Ukrainian children and that the president's personal care is the best guarantee that the US will still be involved in the case. However, she could not determine what specific actions the American administration intended to take.
