USA-Israel-Hamas. US offers $10 million reward for identifying five Hamas financiers – Times of Israel

The United States has offered a $10 million reward for information about five Hamas financiers or information enabling the dismantling of the financing system of the Palestinian terrorist organization, the Times of Israel reported.

The reward will be given for providing information about Abdelbasit Hamza Elhassan Khair, Amer Kamal Sharif Alshav, Ahmed Sadu Jahleb, Walid Mohammed Mustafa Jadallah and Muhammad Ahmad Abd Al-Dajim Nasrallah – says a statement from the US Department of State.

All these Hamas financiers were previously recognized by United States as “global terrorists”. They are responsible for the organization’s investment portfolios and companies TurkeySudan and Qatar.

The US will also reward the identification of important donors and institutions facilitating Hamas’ transactions and companies providing the organization with dual-use technologies, the Times of Israel reported.

Another package of American sanctions against Hamas members

In mid-December, the administration of the US president Joe Biden announced a fourth package of sanctions against Hamas members and people involved in raising funds for this organization. The restrictions were imposed in coordination with Great Britain, and the sanctions list included persons operating, among others, in Turkey and Lebanon.

These include associates of Zaher Jabarin, who deals with financial matters in Hamas, Ali Baraka from Lebanon, the head of Hamas’ foreign relations, Jihad Jagmur, the group’s official representative in Turkey, and a number of other members of the movement, who live in Turkey and the Gaza Strip.
