Russia has struck a major children’s hospital in Kiev and dropped missiles on other cities in Ukraine, killing at least 37 civilians. US President Joe Biden said Monday’s deadly attacks were a “reminder of Russia’s brutality”.

President USA Joe Biden said on Monday that deadly Russian missile attacks on Ukraineincluding the main children's hospital in Kiev, “are a terrifying reminder of Russia's brutality” and announced the strengthening of Ukraine's air defense.

Russia shelled a hospital in Kiev in broad daylight on Monday and dropped rockets on other cities in Ukraine, killing at least 37 civilians in the deadliest wave of airstrikes in months, the US president said.

Joe Biden added in his statement that Washington and its allies FOR THIS will announce new measures this week to bolster Ukraine's air defense.

The number of victims increases after the Russian attack

After Monday's missile attack on Ukraine, the death toll rose to 37. Three children died and 170 people were injured, including 13 children.

In Kiev, a rocket hit a children's hospital, the largest clinic in the country – Okhmatdyt. Two people, including a doctor, died and 10 were injured. Patients had to be evacuated. In the capital, another medical facility was damaged – a health center in the Dnipro district. Seven people died there, including three children, 18 were injured.
