Chris Appleton filed for divorce from actor Lukas Gage on Sunday. According to documents filed by him in a Los Angeles court, the reason for the breakup of the 40- and 28-year-old is said to be “irreconcilable differences,” NBC News reports.

Since the spouses signed an agreement in May specifying the division of property in the event of a possible separation, this issue is not the subject of Appleton’s lawsuit.

Appleton, 40, and Gage, 28, made their relationship official in March this year. A few weeks later, the famous celebrity hairstylist and the actor known from the HBO series “The White Lotus” got married in the Little White Chapel in Los Angeles. In the past, they concluded their marriages in the same place, among others. Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Michael Jordan, Britney Spears and Bruce Willis. Appleton and Gage’s wedding ceremony was hosted by Kim Kardashian.

Gage and Appleton announced their wedding on social media. “We did it,” wrote the hairdresser known from “MTV’s Prom-a-thon” under a post containing photos from the ceremony.
