Police officers from Okarche in the southern United States stopped a two-year-old girl who was driving an electric car. A CNN journalist talked to the officers about the unusual intervention.
The incident occurred last week in Okarche, Oklahoma. On October 24, police officers patrolling the streets noticed a girl in an electric, pink car. Two-year-old Rose was riding and brushing her teeth at the same time. After “inspecting” the child, the police described that the girl received a warning. As they admitted, it was her “cuteness” that convinced them.
“She was busy”
Jeanne Moos, a journalist and CNN presenter, talked to the police officers involved in the operation. – You know that feeling when you see the flashing lights of a police car in your car’s rearview mirror? In this case, a two-year-old girl is sitting behind the wheel of a pink vehicle – the policewoman described the event.
When asked by Moos what she asked the girl after the inspection began, she replied: – I asked if she had a driving license, but she was busy brushing her teeth at the time. She was not interested in talking to me, said the policewoman.

CNN noted that the police added the siren sound to the recording later because the officers did not want to scare the girl while driving.
Moos recalled that Okarche has 1,200 inhabitants, but – as she said – after the sheriff’s office published the recording of this action, “the whole world now knows where Okarche is.” – This is fame gained in one day – admitted the policeman who talked to her.
